Status Effects are a returning element in Wynn Mafia 2. They are afflictions that last for a certain number of phases, causing some sort of effect for its duration. Certain items and role powers can inflict status effects, as well as other causes.

Harmful Effects
Stunned
The player cannot use their role powers.
Silenced
The player's vote will not count.
Frozen
The player cannot perform any actions.
Poisoned
The player takes 25 damage per phase, and cannot benefit from health regeneration.
Plagued
The player takes 20 damage per phase, and can spread the effect to other players they come in contact with via using or receiving actions. Plague infliction typically lasts 4 phases.
Burned
The player takes 35 damage per phase, and can spread the effect to other players they come in contact with via using or receiving actions. When spread, the duration does not reset.
Decayed
The player takes 15 damage per phase, and their spell power is reduced by 1, but their attacks deal an additional 5 damage. Heliolux and Corrupted Heliolux take an additional 20 damage per phase from this effect. Corrupted Heliolux get an additional +10 damage, gain 1 spell power instead of losing 1, get a 25% bonus to stealth, and their chance of crossfire is halved. If a Heliolux dies while this effect is active and is revived, they will become a Corrupted Heliolux and join the Mafia faction.
Horrified
If the player receives any damage, they will die.
Shocked
The player will drop a random unequipped item stack every phase.
Weakened
The player's weapon attacks deal 50% less damage.
Helpful Effects
Empowered
The player's weapon attacks deal 50% more damage.
Regeneration
The player restores 20% of their maximum health each phase.
Resistance
The player is immune to weapon attacks.
Neutral Effects
Magic Resistance
All incoming spells have -4 power.
Berserked
The player both receives and deals double damage from weapon attacks.
Marked
The player's actions on other players will always be detected.
