This page contains game details not necessarily covered in other Wynn Mafia 2 pages, although there is likely also redundant or missing information. In other words, this page is an information dump for what I didn't think was worth its own page.

Firstly, a quick assortment of notes that I don't know where else to put:

Health and emeralds are scaled differently in WM2 than WM1. Instead of having 25 health by default, players have 100 health. Emeralds are converted at approximately a 16:1 ratio, so 10 emeralds in WM1 is somewhere closer to 100-200 emeralds in WM2.

The game was balanced around the assumption that the game's information was still a secret while the game was live; if hosted as-is now, some parts may be especially unbalanced due to all of that information being openly available.

Rules (tentative; copied from game doc)

Of course, rules are a staple of Mafia games because the game wouldn’t function without them. Excessive violation (1-2 strikes depending on the rule) will result in removal from the game with or without replacement and all potential game rewards will be voided. If you’re unsure whether something is against the rules or not, ask me.

  1. Any and all messages I send to you privately (be it text, images, or anything else) cannot be copy-pasted, quoted, screenshotted, video recorded, reproduced, etc. and posted anywhere else but the conversation in which the message was sent.*

  2. When making any public or private conversations related to the game, I (@stlast) must be notified or included, respectively.

  3. If you are dead or are not participating in the game, do not discuss game-related information with other players. This includes any suspicions you hold, information you received from myself, your role, another player’s role, etc.

  4. If you are inactive for four phases or longer, then you will be removed from the game and a replacement will be sought. Inactivity is defined here as not performing any actions or making any posts in the thread or conversations.

  5. No mass roleclaiming (organized reveal of role information by a number of players) is allowed, nor is blackmailing/baiting players for information by using information obtained from outside the game. Roleclaiming, defined here as a disclosing of role name, alignment, or paraphrased abilities separate from mass roleclaiming, is still fine.*

  6. Do not edit or delete any posts you make relating to the game. If you submit a private action but later wish to change or undo it, state your changes in a new post rather than editing the post you submitted the action in; I am likely to miss it otherwise, as I won’t get a notification.

  7. When the game is undergoing a night phase, you are allowed to post in the game thread. However, treat such posts as though you were not in the game - you may comment, but do not make any game discussion. Days are for game discussion, not nights.

  8. Do not gamethrow (deliberately act against your given objective).

  9. All forum rules apply.

  10. As a blanket rule, I am allowed to remove anyone from the game at any time for any reason, and I have the exclusive and indisputable right to make any decision or change to the game at any time.

  11. Not as much a rule as a suggestion, but if you submit an action and later that phase want to change or revoke the action, state so in a new post in your PM; do not edit your original post. This is because I’m not notified when you edit a post, increasing the likelihood that I miss the change. And, as an actual rule/gameplay function, you may not change or revoke an action you submit after the end of the phase it was submitted in; it will not be accounted for.

*Violation of these rules will result in the player and their role being removed immediately and without replacement, and any potential game rewards voided.

The game will function on a two-strike system. Breaking most rules will grant the player a strike, and any more violations will cause the player to be removed from the game. A replacement may or may not be introduced depending on what rule violations were involved.
