General Lecade
Villager
Villager
Starting Emeralds: 64
Starting Weapon: Flawless Birch Spear
General Lecade is a Villager role in Wynn Mafia 2.
"I’ll be honest about General Lecade. Around the time I was drafting my “I quit” post, I glanced at his powers and was like, “what even is this role?” He was sort of an independent-esque Villager role with bonuses towards combat? He does unlock a one-shot vigilante ability relatively cheaply, at least. Now he’s about halfway reworked into something [else], with his specialty moving from vigilante to independent general generalist with some vigilante abilities, too. Overall, he’s a bit of a mess in my eyes and I’m not sure if what I’m doing is helping or making it worse."
Original Version
Level 1
100 health
When visiting a location or performing actions on a player, you will, if
identified, only appear as “a Gavellian Soldier” and will return independent
if your alignment is checked.
You take no damage from attacks that deal damage to more than one
player.
Level 2
Unlocked for 384E
100 health
Once in the game, you may strike a player to deal damage in the likes of
an instant kill; however, if the target is protected or healed that phase,
they will survive. This will be factored in as a direct attack, i.e. with a
weapon.
Level 3
Unlocked for 960E
100 health
You will not take damage from retaliations.
Reworked Version (not 100% finished)
Level 1
80 health
When visiting a location or performing actions on a player, you will, if identified, only appear as “a Gavellian Soldier” under normal circumstances and will return independent if your alignment is checked.
You are 50% less likely to find items when visiting or searching locations, and you have a base inventory capacity of 4 instead of 8. You have a 50% chance of receiving a random item upon defeating a mob (from the universal pool).
For every 200 damage you deal through player attacks and mob encounters, you attract a soldier to your ranks, giving you an assortment of benefits, including 1 inventory space each. You can have a maximum of 1 soldier following you at once, and you cannot accumulate progress towards another one while at your limit. If you die and are resurrected, your soldiers will not return and must be obtained again. You may also spend 220 emeralds to recruit a soldier.
You may send a soldier to a location you have previously visited, expending the soldier but learning what players are at the location. You also receive the bonuses of visiting that location as well as a small amount of emeralds.
Level 2
Unlocked for 544E
80 health
Your maximum army size is increased to 2 soldiers.
Once per phase, you may send a soldier to attack a player in the form of a mob encounter. They have 60 health and 12-16 damage.
Level 3
Unlocked for 1120E
180 health
Your maximum army size is increased to 4 soldiers, providing even more potential benefits. A free soldier is granted upon leveling up.
Your maximum health is increased by 100.
You are able to send a soldier to shadow a player, allowing you to identify their locations, items used, attacks, purchases, and spell casts for the next 4 phases. The soldier will return afterwards if there is space available.
If you are at your army capacity, you may send all your soldiers to launch an assault on a location, evenly and openly attacking all players located there with a large army of 8 veteran soldiers. The location will be destroyed afterwards and you will receive some random ransacked items. Players at the location will identify you by name, the price of purchasing soldiers will be increased by 80 emeralds, and you will lose the ability to vote for the rest of the game.
Soldier Benefits (cumulative with previous tiers):
1:
Voting gives an additional +4 emeralds per soldier.
+50% emerald yield and random location revealed from defeating a hostile mob.
Receive 50% less damage from retaliations and attacks that can deal damage to more than one player.
2:
Once in the game, you may strike a player to deal damage equal to their current health; if the target is protected or healed that phase or has any form of damage resistance, they will survive. This will be factored in as a direct attack, i.e. with a weapon.
Take 25% less damage from weapon attacks while in a town location.
3:
Extra +1 inventory capacity.
Soldiers have +10 health and tier 1 initiative when attacking players.
You gain a one-use ability to privately mod-confirm your role as “General Lecade (Villager)” to the player of your choice.
4:
Your vote will count an additional time.
Merchant prices in town locations are discounted 20%.
Voting provides 10 emeralds per soldier instead of 4.
