You are able to invest in any town location that you have visited before. Merchant prices in that town are decreased for members of your faction by 5% for each 64 emeralds you invest, allowing for up to a 50% discount in a single location. Investing also increases merchant prices for all non-dwarf players by 5% per 64 emeralds invested in that town.

If your faction has invested at least 4,096 emeralds and has at least one member alive at the end of the game, you will win the game.

You possess an emerald vault that can be used to store emeralds. In any phase, you may deposit or withdraw emeralds to the vault or your inventory, respectively. The vault generates 12.5% interest per phase, at a maximum of 80 emeralds per phase.

Level 2

Unlocked for 416E

You are now able to share the vault with up to 4 other players. Each additional player with access to the vault increases the interest rate by a raw 1.875% (i.e. up to 20% interest; brings minimum E-req for max interest down to 400/800). When other players deposit or withdraw emeralds from the vault, you will be notified of how many emeralds were transferred, but not who did it.

Level 3

Unlocked for 736E

The maximum interest is increased 2x, to 160 emeralds per phase.
