This is your fifth such trip in your career, and given the mafia problem, it feels as though this could be either your best or your worst."
The Gavellian Politician was a pseudo-investigative detective role used in Wynn Mafia. It had strong influence over voting along with an unreliable investigative ability.
The Gavellian Politician was given the following powers:
- Your votes will always count an additional time.
- Every other night, you may silence a player for the following day phase. Silencing prevents a player’s vote from counting.
- You gain 25% more emeralds from all sources.
- Because of your detective rank, you may check a player every other night to determine the player’s role name.
Its upgrade contained:
- Your checks are now unable to be distorted or blocked.
- Once in the game, you are also given the ability to hold a council. During the council, which lasts for one day phase (and must be sent the night before), any player can anonymously send information to the host, a list of which will be presented at the end of the phase.
- Lastly, your silence ability has been perfected, and it will now only work on mafia members and independents. You will not be notified should the silencing succeed or fail.
