Committees

Your help as a parent/guardian, family member, or friend of a Woodstown band student is appreciated and always welcome! This is really where you can make a difference to our students' experience in band. Please consider becoming a member of or chairing/co-chairing one or more of the following committees to help in the ways that most interest you:

• Summer Committee -- assist with 4th of July Parade and Band Camp refreshments/events
• Fundraiser Committee -- assist with coordinating band fundraisers
• Uniform/Apparel Committee -- assist with fitting/maintenance of uniforms and ordering of band shoes and other apparel
• Banquet Committee -- assist in planning the December Band Banquet and awards ceremony
• Pit Crew Committee -- assist with moving front ensemble/pit equipment and chaperoning students at competitions, away games, and other events and/or building props for the marching band show
• Concessions Committee -- assist with operating the concession stand at home football games, maintaining the inventory of concessions supplies, and yearly cleaning of concession stand

Please see the Woodstown Band Boosters Bylaws for more detailed descriptions of each committee. Don't worry if you've never helped with one of these duties before--there will be plenty of advice available from parents who have been involved in the past. Your willingness to help is what's most important!

Please complete our Band Boosters Committees and Meetings Google form to indicate which committee(s) or areas you are interested in being part of, and also to indicate which days/times you would be available to attend meetings. We would especially appreciate it if you are interested in chairing or co-chairing a committee! We're hoping that at least one parent/family member of each band student can become involved in some way, so please let us know what best fits your schedule, interests, and skills! The more people who volunteer, the less each individual person needs to do--and, remember, this is all for our kids and to give them the best possible band experience!
