September 30, 2024

Another nice job this weekend! We are right where I thought we would be score-wise. 

This week we have Homecoming. We will stay after school on Friday to get ready for the parade. We will march through town to the football field for the game that evening. 

It is also Senior night. I don't have details yet, but please make sure your families know to be there to escort you on the field. I will post the form as soon as I have it. 

Thursday we will rehearse in the gym for the pep rally on Friday. We will start on the field and move inside with our gear. Plan to be picked up at the school on Thursday. 

Short sleeve shirts for Friday. We will meet in the band room at 12:35 to march through the school for the pep rally. We will play Thriller for the parade through town.

CONGRATS! Great show this weekend. Lets do it again on Saturday. Williamstown this weekend. 

 
Saturday

3:00 - Load at stadium

3:30 - meet at school for uniforms (long sleeve shirts)

4:00 - load bus and depart

4:30  - arrive at Williamstown

6:40 - step off

9:30 - load and depart

10:00 - arrive at Woodstown

Tuesday - we will rehearse and use some judge feedback to improve what we have. Thursday we will add some new visuals. 

THURSDAY - we will meet at 5:30 to put on uniforms and move to the field for pictures. Please be early so we don't have to cut into too much of our rehearsal time.

It's a competition week! We perform at Clearview on Saturday.

5:00 - meet at school to go over stands tunes and change for game (short sleeve shirts)

6:15 - parade to stadium

post game - load trailer in preparation for competition

2:30 - meet at school for uniforms (long sleeve shirts)

9:00 - arrive at Woodstown

Be sure to be at rehearsals this week. We have a lot of additions and adjustments to make. It should be a great week. 

Now, let's address the Stands Tunes. We did not sound great on Friday. Let's remember, that for most of our community, hearing us in the stands or on the field is all they ever see of us. I need to know that you are taking this seriously and taking pride in what we do. 

September 12, 2024

Rehearsal on Thursday. Game Friday. 

We will be adding visuals tonight and working music. If you haven't practiced or listened since last rehearsal, do it! 

Friday we will NOT be staying after school. Go home, rest for a bit and be back at 5:00. Use the kitchen entrance. We will wear uniforms on Friday. Your black Dri-fit shirt is in your garment bag. Please be careful with your uniform pieces. You each have ONE of everything and we can't hand out replacements. It's your job to make sure you have what you need and that it's put back correctly in the bags for the next time. 

You did a GREAT job at the last game and I can't wait to see how polished we can make this show!

School is starting y'all!

We have rehearsal Tuesday and Thursday nights the rest of September. Please use the conflict form AS WELL AS TELLING ME if you have to miss. I understand that there are lots of things on your schedules now and I'm good with sharing, but I need to know ahead of time so we can use our time wisely. 

Football game Friday night. We are wearing the grey band shirts and black athletic shorts again. We will fit for uniforms soon so we have them by our first competition. 

WE WILL STAY AFTER SCHOOL ON FRIDAY and the Boosters have offered to feed you. We will use the after school time to go through the stands tunes. We have a change this year in the conference rules about when and what we play so we need to work on some things. 

See you on the field at 6. I hope you practiced!
