And we are off and running! Welcome to the new members and welcome back to our veterans. I hope you are ready for another great Marching Wolverine Season!
Our first rehearsal was on Thursday 6/6. We started marching basics and worked on our parade music. We are preparing for the Fourth of July Parade on 7/4.
Upcoming June rehearsals:
June 19 and 26 - full ensemble
Drumline on the 25th as well
Parade info:
Wednesday, July 4
We are meeting at the football field at 8:30 AM. Wear your grey band shirt (see MS Williams if you need a shirt), black shorts and sneakers. No hats but sunglasses are ok. Put on SUNSCREEN and hydrate. We are alternating the cadence, God Bless America and My Country Tis of Thee from the Patriotic Parade Sequence. You can use music if you need it. We will step off at 10:00 and be back to the school around 11:00.
We will be moving to the field for the summer and fall. Prepare to move all your gear from the school to the field/trailer on Thursday, June 20. Drop off and Pick ups will be there until the end of the season. Anything left in the band room will be thrown away or added to the school inventory.
If you are NOT YET IN THE GROUP REMIND, you MUST join. Parents are welcome. Any last minute info or changes will be sent that way. It's also a very quick way to send a message directly to me. Use this link to join.
Physicals are needed to participate in marching band. Use THIS LINK for all the info and step by step instructions. This must be done by band camp.
