November Update #1 - 11/4/19
Schedule Reminders/Changes
Rehearsal on 11/19 is cancelled.
With that, we have three remaining Tuesday rehearsals - 11/5, 11/12, and 11/26
These rehearsals are ALL changed to 6-8 PM
There will be a home playoff game this Friday, 11/8 against Pennsville Memorial.
The football team is doing a fantastic job this year, so please be prepared for potential games on the 15th or 16th AND the 22nd or 23rd. We WILL be performing the show at any remaining home games!

Concessions Help
Parents - given that this Friday is a confirmed home game, we will need more parent help operating the concession stand! Additionally, volunteer slots are still available for the Powderpuff Game on 11/25 and Thanksgiving Game on 11/28. Please sign up at the link below.

November Update #2 - 11/11/19
Congratulations to our football team on making round 2 of the playoffs! The game will be a home game vs Salem HS on Friday at 7 PM. The outcome of this week's round will determine if the team competes in championships next week.
Due to the amount of students we will be missing at this game due to the fall play dress rehearsal, we will not be performing our halftime show. However, we will still attend the game and function as a pep band in the stands throughout all four quarters with halftime off. To assist with our supportive presence in the home stands, I will ask that Color Guard and Front Ensemble members attend the game (do not need to dress in uniform).
Because we will not be performing the show, Tuesday's rehearsal is cancelled. The next time we will meet to rehearse the show will be 11/26, the week of Thanksgiving. We will still need to present an amazing performance for our alumni and Thanksgiving crowd, so please keep the show fresh in your minds!

Road Cleanup - 11/23
Students - an opportunity to participate in the Woodstown Road Cleanup fundraiser is still available. The fundraiser begins at 9 AM. We will need minimally two more students to sign up for the fundraiser to run. If you are interested in earning $40-50 towards your spring trip payments, please sign up by contacting Mrs. Nowmos at nowmos.c@woodstown.org.

November Update #3 - 11/27/19
We have arrived at the TRUE FINAL weekly update of the season! With that being said, now that we have had time to reflect on our past season, I would like to extend my most heartfelt thanks to all who made this possible. I will go in depth to all of these thanks at the banquet, but for now, thank you to our parents and boosters, administration, staff, and most of all, our students for making this season a true dream come true.
With that being said - we still have two runs and about 6 total hours left to go! (Yes, we are doing the show on Thanksgiving!) Your attendance is crucial this week. As soon as the Thanksgiving game is completed, dismissal will gain priority and we will have you on your way as soon as possible.

During the alumni meet and greet before the game, be sure to catch up with plenty of alumni. There will be over 15 alumni planning to attend and there are many stories to be told, past and present. Be sure to make them feel welcomed in the music room that was once their home and has now become yours.

Band Banquet - 12/7
Don’t forget to RSVP to woodstownbandboosters@gmail.com to attend this year’s banquet held at Masso’s Red Pine Inn in Glassboro. Remember that the start time has been moved to 6:30 PM. I hope to see EVERYONE there - families included - for a great night of celebration, food and awards.
