And we are off and running! Welcome to the new members and welcome back to our veterans. I hope you are ready for another great Marching Wolverine Season!
We are jumping right into rehearsals this week.
May Rehearsals: (as of 5/22 - Please always check the calendar on this site for the most up-to-date schedule)
May 26 - FIRST REHEARSAL! 6-8. Wear athletic shoes and comfortable clothing. We will meet first in the band room and move outside as part of our rehearsal. We will announce the results of our drum line auditions at this time as well. (The Varsity Blues will also practice this night. Check with Ms Sheridan for more info about this.)
May 28 - Drumline only 5:45-7:15 We are starting a little early because of another rehearsal that night. We will do harness fittings and basic care of your gear, posture, marching technic etc. We will work on parade music and cadence.

June 4 - Marching Band 6-7:30, everyone
June 4 - Drumline only 7:30-9:00
June 9 - Marching Band 6-9, everyone
June 11 - Drumline only 6-8
June 16 - Marching Band 7:30-9 I know some will miss this rehearsal, as it is the same night as the 8th grade promotion. As always, fill out the conflict form if you are going to miss a rehearsal.
June 18 - Drumline only 6-8
June 23 - Marching Band 6-9, everyone
June 25 - Drumline only 6-8
June 30 - Marching Band 6-9, everyone
If you are NOT YET IN THE GROUP REMIND, you MUST join. Parents are welcome. Any last minute info or changes will be sent that way. It's also a very quick way to send a message directly to me. Use this link to join. Once you join, be sure to check that your settings are set to recieve text notifications. It doesn't work, if you aren't getting the messages.
Remember, if you need to miss a rehearsal, tell Ms Sheridan or the staff member in your section, and ALSO fill out this conflict form.

Physicals are needed to participate in marching band. Use THIS LINK for all the info and step by step instructions. This must be done by band camp.
Parade info:
Saturday, July 4
We are meeting at the football field at 8:30 AM. Wear your grey band shirt (see MS Williams if you need a shirt), black shorts and sneakers. No hats but sunglasses are ok. Put on SUNSCREEN and hydrate. We are alternating the cadence, God Bless America and My Country Tis of Thee from the Patriotic Parade Sequence. You can use music if you need it. We will step off at 10:00 and be back to the school around 11:00.
You must have a binder for your music. Please get one or ask Ms Sheridan. You will also need page protectors. Bring a pencil to every rehearsal. Other things to have ready for band camp August 4-9:
MANDATORY
Instrument - any reeds, oil, straps, mallets, sticks etc.
Show music, printed out in a binder with clear page protectors.
Pencil attached to the dot book
Stands music printed out and in a flip folder. This is also in the Flip Folders Drive
Athletic clothing and SNEAKERS
