All parents/guardians of students participating in the Woodstown Instrumental Music Program are automatically members of the Woodstown Band Boosters. Additionally, any interested friends or relatives may be members of the Woodstown Band Boosters.
Your help is essential to making the Woodstown Band program the best it can be and enhancing your child's experience in marching band! Volunteers are needed to help with various aspects of the program, including:
Selling concessions at home football games and other events
Chaperoning for competitions, away games, and parades
Assisting with moving equipment and building props
Assisting with uniforms and other apparel
Assisting with fundraising campaigns
Providing refreshments for students at Band Camp and other events
Planning social events for students, including the December Band Banquet
We can't do this without you! Please consider joining or chairing one or more of our committees or helping with our fundraisers to assist where you are able! Any time you are able to volunteer is appreciated and will make a huge difference to our students and band program.
In order to help with any band event, you will need to be approved as a volunteer by the school board each year. Please complete your online volunteer form and other paperwork with the school district to become involved!
We also encourage all parents to attend our band parent meetings, usually held monthly on Sunday evenings (currently online via Google Meet), so you can learn what is involved in helping to finance and support the band program. Meeting dates with links will be posted on the Woodstown Band Calendar. If you are unable to attend but interested in learning what was discussed, visit the Meeting Agendas and Minutes page. Please also consider running for an Executive Board position when elections open each spring. Contact woodstownbandboosters@gmail.com if you have any questions or for more information about getting involved.
