Assignment 1.4: Application of Self-Advocacy Principles (ASAP)
Purpose: To become self-advocates, you must apply the principles of self-advocacy on a regular basis. Applying these principles at the completion of each learning plan will improve your self-advocacy skills.
Instructions: After many of the learning plans you will be asked to apply the self-advocacy principles that you learned. The application can vary from learning plan to learning plan and can be as creative as you would like based on the approval of your teacher. Each application will have a specific audience and that can also vary from learning plan to learning plan based on the approval of the teacher. Listed below are suggestions for types of applications you can use and types of audiences you would like to target.
