District Assessment and Reflection

TIG's national transition partner at the National Technical Assistance Center on Transition: The Collaborative (NTACT:C) provides support to improve opportunities and outcomes for students and youth with disabilities.  They are co-funded by the U.S. Department of Education's Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP) and the Rehabilitation Services Administration (RSA).

NTACT:C created an assessment for districts to determine the degree to which their programming is likely to lead to more positive post-school outcomes for students with disabilities.  NTACT:C uses predictors they identified through research that lead to positive post-school outcomes.  The predictor categories listed have been extracted from high quality correlational research specific to students with disabilities.

A login will need to be created with NTACT:C to access the Predictor Implementation School/District Self-Assessment and the School/District Self-Assessment Planning Guide.
