Assignment 2.3—Summary of Disability
Purpose: After interviewing a professional or another individual with the same disability and researching the internet, books, and articles, create a summary of your disability. This report will make it easier to determine the type of accommodations you may need for learning.
Instructions: Create a summary about the disability. The summary should include: a definition of the disability, the characteristics, impact on learning and other life activities and accommodations suggested. Have another individual read the summary checking for grammar and spelling errors before turning in to your teacher. In addition, use the Summary of Disability Rubric as a guide.
