A Conceivable Future testimony is your video, audio, or written statement from the heart about how the climate crisis is shaping your intimate decisions, particularly your decisions about childbearing and/or parenting. You don’t need to know what you are going to do with your reproductive potential, and you don’t need to have considered climate change before you had your children–there’s no “right” answer. What’s important is that you step forward and tell the world that climate change is shaping your life.

Citizen's Assemblies: Grassroots Climate Action
INSIGHTS ON USING MEET-UP
In researching this section, we came across Meet-Up. Meet-up is a fantastic source for doing fun, rewarding, and positive activities. There are thousands of local groups engaged in almost anything you could image: arts and culture, career and business, health and wellbeing, hobbies and passions.
With a focus on eco-issues, what appealed to us were the two categories of Movements and Politics, and Community and Environment. You can find local people of your political persuasion, to thousands of action-oriented climate and environmental groups, clubs, and organizations. Hands-on activities such as Beach Clean-ups, Nature Surveys, Regenerative Agriculture, and Climate Action Groups.
You can do things in person or online, such as: Green Business Networking, Climate Action Training 101, and Virtual Volunteer Hour. And you can start your own Meet-up group for just about anything eco-oriented activity you could imagine.
In investigating Meet Up and other social organizations, we found some broken links. Some work, some didn’t.
SUGGESTION FOR USING MEET-UP OR OTHER SITES TO PARTICIPATE IN GREEN GROUPS
We had success by putting something like: Climate Change group near me in your search engine. You could also use terms like: Sustainable, Solar, Environmental, Socially Responsible Investing, Renewable Energy near me.
There are also many long-established organizations that will often have local group meeting near you. (We have a substantial listing on the Call to Act page).
As an Example: In the search-bar we put in “Climate Action Groups in Seattle” and found 17 listed just in the city limits.
