H O P E

At the dawn of 2025—a year I believe to be one of the most pivotal in human history—hopes are offered. These hopes are expressed through dance, an homage to Nietzsche, the often-misunderstood and visionary European philosopher who wrote: “Ich würde nur an einen Gott glauben, der zu tanzen verstünde” (I would only believe in a god who could dance).

Here, dance becomes a spiritual act, an expression of freedom, joy, and the transcendence of limits. It embodies a light and creative existence set against the tremors and rumblings that loom on the horizon of the future.

This is about hope and optimism, where there is nothing to be gained at another’s expense. It declares an unconditional love for life—all lives. It voices infinite admiration for the beauty of the world. It proclaims faith in reality and the impossibility of nothingness: as long as something exists, nothingness cannot prevail. It asserts what life detached from time should be: every day, every moment lived must be nothing less than the most beautiful day of one’s life.

Neither words nor images can capture what lies in view. Only music—and for us, the living, dance—can convey it.
