The Dance Hall and the Movie Theater feature video. To get the most out of the experience, you must set the following in your preferences:
Sound & Media > Media
Media auto-play enabled
Click the two first check-boxes
Make sure all media stream is working
If it is not, click on the icon, like this:
Graphics
Quality and speed: high or above
Shaders: Advanced Lighting Model
Shadows : SunMoon + Projectors

HOW TO USE THE VIDEO SYSTEM
The Dance Hall and Movie Theater each have a different video stream, with two different programs. To enjoy the program :
Browsing and watching the program
Click on the on/off button at the bottom right of the screen, to access the menu
Click on «Playlist» and choose the program you wish
To access the different playlists, click on "Other Lists"
You can also enter a video url in "Enter an URL"
Click on «Play» in the menu to start the program
Enjoying the show together
If several of you want to share the same program at the same time (to dance or simply to share the moment) :
If there is no video playing, click each on the on/off button at the bottom right of the screen
One person in the group chooses the desired program
The program starts automatically for everyone at the same time
To keep the synchronization during the broadcast
Do not cam outside the room and do not leave the room
Do not turn off your video stream
Do not change the program
People who join you later will not be synchronized with you
Advice for use
If you hear both video streams simultaneously, toggle the «all media» button of your SL browser
During the program, avoid camming outside the room: otherwise you may lose the image and/or desynchronize the stream.
HOW TO DANCE
The Dance Hall is open 24 hours a day for visitors to dance amidst an atmosphere of video clips. Two dance machines each contain about 200 dances, contemporary, modern and classical.
Take off your AO
Click on one of the dance ball (contemporary or classic)
Choose your dance (couple or single)
Use the video menu (see above) to choose your music clip, or playlist, or your own youtube video
The spots on the ground of the stage are dedicated to the Dance Odyssey parties. But you can use them to set your position on the stage.
