This book is the amazing result of a cooperation between the photographer Melusina Parkin and Milena Carbone. Like many of Milena Carbone’s works, it questions our perception of reality, and the reality of reality.

Inspired by the minimalist images of the famous SL photographer, Milena Carbone wrote a text, driven by the techniques of surrealist Automatic Writing and Illustrious Corpses. The author then reworked the text by creating links between each of the small texts, thus giving consistency and echoes to a poetic prose.

Fragments was a monumental exhibition in Second Life, involving as well as the creation of a contemporary ballet against the music of Steve Reich, composer of the minimalist movement. The ballet is still awaiting production.
