Resilience is a contemporary ballet written by Milena Carbone for Second Life, with music by the French e-music composer Hélène Vogelsinger. A first performance took place on Wednesday April 19 at 12 PM SLT in Noir Wen City. A second show will be scheduled soon.

The ballet takes place in three 9-minute parts, exploring three questions about resilience, a key theme for our generation: Why do we live? How did we fail ? Who will be the resilients?

Two dancers dance to soft and slow music, then repetitive and mechanical, and finally rhythmic and gripping. The stage, located in an old disused factory like the places where Hélène Vogelsinger performs in her videos, is minimalist: in front of a concrete wall, images scroll by, from the origin to human and technology. In the third part, portraits of those who will be the resilient scroll by.

The images produced for the show were made by Milena Carbone, with Midjourney and her personal stylistic parameters. This is the second time she uses this technique to create the stage for her dance shows, after Parallels. This technique is also beginning to emerge in RL shows. In the ancient theater of Orange, France, a show of this kind will be performed from May 2023.
