Solitude is a exhibition room and an artistic performance in itself that brings together a space, a painting, a letter and shadows that evolve in time. It is a short walk with the visitor walking beside me. Not only Milena Carbone, but the real me, from the real world.

The visitor may come across an envelope. On closer inspection, he/she will see that the letter is addressed to him. He unfolds the letter and he will read what is happening here and now in my real world life, what I feel, what I think. There is no direct relationship between this diary and the painting. They are two views of the same story, two lines that form a perspective.

We walk side by side on the same path, but we do not see the same landscape. We are together and alone.
