DEFINITION:
Every missed ball (intentionally or not)
GUIDELINES:
Both attributes could be used only in combination with Touch. Ball Missed is used when the player tries to play or stop the ball, but he can't reach or miss it. For example: attempt to stop the ball by a player, but it goes under his foot or he jumps alone at the air to play with his head, but can't reach it. Ball Missed Feint is used, when a player misses the ball with purpose, with some idea and intention, letting it for some of his teammates behind him or trying to pass through the defender, who is on his back (this should be tagged also like Offensive duel + take on).
- both attributes could be used only in combination with Touch
- ball missed is used when a player tries to play or stop the ball, but he can't reach it or miss it
- when there is an attempt to stop the ball by a player, but it goes under his foot or he jumps alone at the air to play with his head, but doesn't reach it
- if a player tries to shoot the ball, but misses it - it should be touch + ball missed, not a shot + bad...if he touches it, but do a very bad shot - the it should be shot + bad
- it's used even if there is slight touch of the ball, but still it's missed and there is no significant change of the ball's trajectory
The right central defender in white/red shirt tries to intercepts the opposite cross, but can't reach the ball - touch, ball missed, because there is an attempt by him to reach the ball and it goes close to him
Pedri passes the ball to the GK and he doesn't touch and stop it well
After the cross of the player from Spain, his teammate tries to reach the ball with head, but he doesn't touch it - still there is an attempt from him to take the ball and ball missed must be used for him
After the cross N.6 in red shirt tries to clear the ball, but it goes near his foot - there is an attempt to reach the ball
There is a pass, directed to N.6 in red shirt, but it's not so accurate - there is an attempt by him to take the ball, but he misses it and reaches it later, near the side line - for the first attempt there should be tagged touch, ball missed and next the other action
A player in white shirt crosses the ball into the penalty area and his teammate tries to kick it with his foot high at the air, but he misses it and the player in green shirt clears it with head - it's touch, ball missed for the player in white (he misses to kick the ball, there is no fight at the air with the opposite player) and head pass for the player in green - just plays with the ball, after the opposite player misses it
N.9 in blue shirt tries to intercept the pass of the opposite player, but he doesn't reach the ball - even if it was not so close to him, he attempts to reach the ball and with his miss he eliminates himself and let the opposite player to go behind him in dangerous position - touch, ball missed should be used here
N.28 in white shirt tries to shoot the ball and misses it with his right foot, slightly touching it next with his left foot - still he misses the ball and it should be tagged like touch, ball missed + opportunity and bad
After the pass (and before the shot) N.15 in white shirt slides on the ground with an attempt to intercept the ball - touch, ball missed should be used here, because he tries to reach the ball
- both attributes could be used only in combination with Touch
- ball missed feint is used, when a player misses the ball with purpose, with some idea
- ball missed feint must be used if there is a pass to a player, he leaves the ball to move between his feet for a teammate, who is behind him and runs forward to receive the ball by his teammate
Before the assist, Ozil has a chance to play with the ball in front of the penalty area, but misses it with purpose (he has some idea not touching the ball and immediately sprints right after in the empty space) for his teammate - touch, ball missed, feint for Ozil
Griezmann misses the ball with purpose, but his teammates don't "read" his intention - still touch, ball missed, feint for him
N.6 from Juventus receives a pass, but he misses the ball and passes it next in front of his own penalty area - for this missed ball in the beginning is not needed to use ball missed feint
For N.26 in red shirt should be tagged touch, ball missed feint + key involvement - even if he doesn't touch the ball, his action is significant for the creation of the goal (still the assist should be tagged to N.7)
- ball missed feint must be used if a player leaves the ball to move near him, tries to pass through/dribble a defender, who is on his back, using his body movement (this should be tagged together with Offensive duel + take on)
N.7 in red/blue shirt feels the opposite player on his back and misses the ball between his own legs with lying move and start to run immediately to pass through and leave him behind - offensive duel must be added (1 vs. 1 play), but also touch, ball missed, feint too for N.7
- ball missed could be added in combination with opportunity, when there is a cross on the ground near the goal line, a player jumps to kicks the ball, but he can't reach it for centimeters in front of an open goal
Oyarzabal from Spain tries to shoot the ball with head, but misses and doesn't reach it - missed ball for him, but still a good chance for scoring
- ball missed should be not used if the player, who tries to block the opposite action, is too close - a cross by an opponent, another player is just 2-3 meters close and tries to block it, but doesn't reach the ball - it's not needed to add ball missed to him
N.18 in blue/red shirt - he tries to block the opposite cross, but he doesn't touch the ball - attempt to block a cross (or shot, pass...), which is not successful from such a close distance to the opposite player (even if the ball goes near to the player), must be not tagged like Interception or touch + ball missed, because the distance between both player is too short and the defender just tries to stop the ball, but he doesn't have clear opportunity to reach it
