DEFINITION:
Every saved shot from a long distance
GUIDELINES:
It's used, when there is a shot and the goalkeeper has enough time to react and saves it – he could punch/catch the ball. t's used for shots from medium and long distance, most of the times long shots or easy shots from close distance.
- it could be used only to the GK
- every saved shot by the GK from medium and long distance (outside of the penalty area)
The GK of Dinamo Kiev saves very well the shot of Messi from free kick with one hand
Neuer catches the ball after the long shot
Punched ball from Neuer after the shot
Donnarumma catches the ball after the shotÂ
Even if the ball comes from a deflection after an attempt to be cleared, it goes directly and dangerously in the goal and the goalkeeper reacts to save it - it's not a shot, but still it's a save (there will be no software mistake)
At the end of the clip the opposite player shoots and the GK catches the ball - even if the shot is not directed in goal, still it should be tagged like save for the GK
- every saved shot by the GK from close distance, which is not a strong one (easy to be saved)
A shot from close distance (inside in the penalty area), but too weak and not so dangerous - easily caught ball by ter Stegen - save for him, not reflex, doesn't matter that the shot is from the penalty area
Long shot by Kroos, but next Hazard touches the ball and changes its trajectory - the GK tries to react in the last possible moment - doesn't matter that the first shot is from long distance, at the end there is a deflection and the situation changes - reflex, not save for the GK
Even if Sommer catches the ball after the head shot, it's form close distance and he reacts to the ball (very well) - it's reflex, not save (doesn't mean that if the GK catches the ball that it can't be reflex)
A shot from inside of the penalty area, but not so strong one and Sommer catches the ball without any troubles - save must be tagged, not reflex
When the GK does some steps to catch/reach/save the ball - reflex should be not used (even if the shot is from the penalty area), because there is not instant reaction - save is the right option here
Even if it's a shot from close distance, still it's an easy one, directly in the hands of the GK, without any need of reaction by him, so save should be used here, not reflex
- if there is crossed ball, which goes dangerously in goal and the GK saves it - it could be used, doesn't matter that it was not an attempt for a shot
Doesn't matte that Mount tries to cross the ball, still it goes dangerously in goal and Schmeichel punches it in corner - save must be tagged for him, because he saves clear goal (it will not affect the software algorithm if there is not a shot, but cross before)
- if the ball goes out of goal or hits the post - it's not saved, doesn't matter is there any reaction by the GK
- if there is really bad attempt for a shot, the ball goes really slow against goal and a GK does some steps forward (or stop the ball with foot) - it's not save, just loose ball must be added to the next action
When the shot is too bad and the GK goes forward to take the ball, it's not save (loose ball must be added to the next action and the shot to be directed in out)
The player in dark shirt tries to do an action (cross or shot, not so sure) - the ball is directed outside of the goal and also the GK does some steps to catch it - it's not save, just loose ball must be added to the next action
After the shot of N.9 in blue shirt, the GK does a few steps to take the ball - it's not needed to be tagged like save, just loose ball must be added to the next action
N.9 in green shirt shoots the ball, but the shot is very weak - save is not needed for the GK, loose ball should be added to the next action (the shot should be directed outside of the goal)
N.27 in orange/red shirt tries to cross the ball and find his teammate, running forward, but the ball is missed by him - for the GK should be tagged touch + loose ball, not save/reflex, because this is an attempt for a cross and the trajectory of the ball is also more likely to be outside of the goal
- if a GK saves a shot and next there is one more, which is a goal - save for the first shot and save (or reflex) + goal for the second shot (not only 1 save for the whole situation)
Nauer receives a goal from long shot - always save (or reflex) + goal must be tagged for the GK for received goals
Save + goal for the GK of Celta
Neuer receives a goal
