DEFINITION:
Every simple pass on the ground
GUIDELINES:
Every simple pass. Short or long passes on the ground, not difficult to be done.
- the pass must be an easy, simple one
Short pass by De Bruyne
Pass by Haaland (with link up play)
Pass (with loose ball) for Pique
Pass (with under pressure) for de Jong
Both passes of Ederson must be tagged like Pass, doesn't matter that the second one is longer - still a simple pass on the ground
The defender in red shirt tries to pass the ball forward - despite that it's an attempt for a long pass, obviously not successful, the ball goes on the ground and this should be tagged like a pass (and bad), not lrk
- it should be ground pass (could be even long distance) or simple high passed ball, but not more than 15 meters
Doesn't matter that the pass of Mingueza in the middle of the pitch is at the air, still it's simple and short pass
The pass of Kroos - it's over the pitch on middle height, but the ball reaches his teammate, bouncing on the ground - must be tagged like a Pass
N.9 in blue shirt passed the ball a bit high to avoid possible interception - still must be tagged like a Pass
The pass of the player in dark shirt (after he intercepts the ball) should be pass, not long range kick, doesn't matter that it's at the air in some point - it's not a long distance, the ball bounces on the ground and it's not over some opposite player
N.9 in red shirt - this should be tagged like a pass, not like a LRK, because it's a bit high ball, but not over the head of the opposite player and at the end his teammate takes it from the ground
The player in blue shirt passes the ball from his own half to the attacking teammate - it should be tagged like a pass, not lrk, doesn't matter that it's not on the ground, still it's a short pass, received by the teammate with his foot
- when there is a goal scored and during the replay the game is started again (not visible) - Pass must be tagged to the team for the first pass after the goal
- when there is a replay and the video contines again - it's not visible the start of the pass, but the ball goes on the ground and according to the trajectory is clear from which player it comes - the pass must be tagged
There is replay of the goal of Italy - when it ends the ball is already in play - not visible, but clear that it starts with a pass (like always after a goal) - it should be tagged always on the team
The GK passes the ball to his teammate, who is our of the range of the camera - he passes the ball to another player - it's not visible at the moment of the pass, but a few seconds later it's visible that the ball comes from N.5 - these type of passes should be tagged to the player, not to the team, because it's understandable who does the action
- if it's simple pass, behind the defensive line (not between some opposite players), it should be pass, not smart pass
- if it's a forward, sharp pass, near the sideline, directed from the outside part (closest to the sideline) of the last player (wing back), it should be a pass - smart pass would be if the pass is from the inside part of the last player and the next player, close to him (left wing back and left central defender)
- not every pass with heel is smart pass - could be also pass, if it's simple one
The pass on N.43 near the slide line is better to be a pass, not smart pass, doesn't matter the distance, because it's simple pass and nobody has chance to intercept the ball (outside of him), nothing so creative
The pass of Witsel - doesn't matter that it's behind the defensive line, still it's a simple pass
The pass of Jordi Alba with heel - it's a pass (doesn't matter that the pass is with heel, it's still simple pass)
The pass of Pedri to Alba - it's a smart pass, not a pass, because it's in the channel between both defenders
For the player in black shirt, who dribbles against the opposite defender - next it's a pass, not a smart pass, doesn't matter that he creates good chance for scoring or it's in the penalty area - still not a difficult pass
The pass of De Bruyne - must be a smart pass, not a pass, because it's between a few opposite players, there is some idea
The pass of Salah to Mane must be pass, not smart pass or cross, because Mane is already in front of the marking defender, because of his good speed and the pass creates good chance, but it's not between some opposite players (all defenders are behind the line of the pass)
The pass of Salah - creates a good chance for Mane, it's between 2 players, but the distance between them is large enough (second player runs back) and both of them have no chance to intercept the ball - good, but simple pass
The long pass on the ground at the end of the clip by Dahoud - it should be smart pass, not a pass, because it's creative, between some players
The pass of Firmino must be pass, not smart pass - the opposite wing back was already out of position and the pass to Salah is not between both defenders - simple pass
N.77 in yellow shirt - with this pass he avoids 2 opposite players (so not a simple pass) and the distance is not so long, at the same time his teammate receives the ball with his foot (not long range kick) - smart pass is the best option here
Important pass by Pogba, creates opportunity for Mbappe in the penalty area, but still not between opposite players - simple pass
The pass of N.21 in blue shirt - behind the line, but outside from the opposite player (doesn't have a chance to reach the ball) - pass
Another example of pass with heel from Yarmolenko - only pass is enough
The pass of N.2 in white shirt is pass, not smart pass, because both of the opposite players are too far - just a simple pass
The pass of de Jong must be smart + through pass, not only pass, even if the opposite defenders are with big distance between each other - it's direct "hidden" pass in the empty space behind the opposite defender
Higuain (in pink shirt) tries a hidden pass between the players - it should be tagged like smart pass (with through pass), not like pass
N.22 in red shirt passes the ball in the gap behind the back of the opposite player, trying to find his teammate in dangerous position - the distance between both opposite players is not so small, but yet it's a "hidden" pass and smart pass is better option than pass
The striker in yellow shirt passes the ball to his teammate - it's pass, not smart pass, because the opposite defender is already out of position, the pass is not behind his back, it's just simple passÂ
The last pass, before the shot, done by the player with yellow boots and green shirt, should be tagged like smart pass, not pass - it's creative and not a simple pass
For N.28 in yellow shift should be pass (with good), not smart pass - it's a good pass, creating chance for scoring, but at the same time it's not so difficult pass between some opposite players
Here the pass of N.8 in yellow shirt should be tagged like smart, through pass - it's a direct pass, trying to find his teammate behind the defensive line, directly against the goal and passing the ball from the inside part of the defender in the channel between him and the central defender
N.16 in yellow shirt - Smart pass is better option here, because the player had a chance to pass the ball from the outside side of the opposite player in a first place (which was the easier option), but after that he passed the ball from the inside side of the player, trying to do a bit more creative pass
- pass in combination of defensive actions
Pass + interception for Pique, because he intercepts the opposite pass and at the same time directs the ball to a teammate
Pass + clearance for the player in black shirt, who clears the ball from the out line
For N.33 in blue shirt should be tagged pass, loose ball, not defensive duel - there is offensive duel for the player in yellow with the first player, after that his last touch was not so good and he lost the possession of the ball in that moment, which gave chance to N.33 to pass the ball directly
- if a player stops the ball and a teammate takes ("steals") the ball from him and continue forward with it - it's touch, not a pass, because the 1st players stops the ball for himself, doesn't pass it and next just leaves it for his teammate to continue playing forward
In the beginning of the clip Rudiger tries to stop the ball after the opposite clearance - doesn't matter that the ball goes to a teammate, still it's an attempt to stop it by Rudiger, not with the intention to pass it, so touch should be tagged
After the clearance of N.24 in yellow, the player in blue shirt takes the ball, but doesn't stop it so well and just leaves it to his teammate - it's not a pass, but touch, because his intention is not to pass the ball, but to stop it
When the player in front of the penalty area plays with her head, her teammate reaches the ball and tries to stop and move with it, but next leaves the ball to N.6 in white shirt, because she is in better position - the original idea is not to pass the ball, so touch must be used instead of pass in this situation
The goalkeeper receives the ball and looks for his next action, but meanwhile the defender takes the ball from him - it's not a pass for the GK, just touch is enough in this case, because he leaves the ball for his teammate
- pass with chest/shoulder is a pass, not a head pass
The pass with chest by Walker - it's pass, not head pass
Dolberg, N.12 in red, intercepts the ball and passes it with chest - pass + interception, not head pass
- when a player passes the ball, but he is fouled next - the pass is not needed to be tagged - it should be a duel
Offensive duel for Kroos (in black shirt) - the pass must be not tagged, because there is a foul before by the opposite player and it's not counted
Foden dribbles and next de Bruyne shoots the ball - pass must be not tagged for Foder, because he dribbles and just leaves the ball for De Bruyne, but he doesn't want to pass it to him
Late attempt by the opposite player to steal the ball - Offensive duel (without pass) for N.12 in white shirt - the pass is not counted
