DEFINITION:
Fast run with the ball in the feet of the player
GUIDELINES:
When a player runs fast with the ball in his feet, changes his speed and sprints with the ball in his feet. The distance of his run with the ball should be more than 15 meters.
- fast run with the ball in the feet, when the player uses his speed
- it should be 15 meters or more
- usually it's forward/sideward run, not backward, if it's fast and long enough
Arnold sprints with the ball in his feet on the right wing
De Jong accelarates and sprints with the ball in his feet and wins big part of the pitch
Accelaration by Azpilicueta on the wing from Spain
Emerson from Italy runs faster and faster with the ball in the middle of the pitch
Sideward diagonal run with the ball could be tagged also like accelaration for the player, who passes the ball at the end of the clip...if it's straight backward run with the ball - accelaration must be not used
- usually it's used for win possession of the pitch, but could be also in combination with offensive duel, when there is 1 vs. 1 play
N.7 in white shirt sprints with the ball in his feet (accelaration first) and at the end Pogba fouls him (offensive duel for N.7 too)
Accelaration and Offensive duel + left take on for Bale against Bartra - the player of Real Madrid uses his speed to pass through the opposite player
N.15 in red shirt sprints very fast with the ball and uses his speed to dribble around the opposite player - accelaration must be used here, together with offensive duel
N.19 in red shirt sprints with the ball - even if he touches once the ball and runs after it, if he do it on full speed, it's ok to be accelaration (and also offensive duel against the player, who does the tackle after that)
Accelaration is the better option here, not touch, because N.15 in yellow shirt (close to the sideline) changes his speed and accelarates his run, but also there must be off. duel + left take on, because in some point both players are on the same line (doesn't matter that the opposite player runs from behind to catch him with diagonal movement) and N.15 wants to pass through and eliminates his opponent, leaving him behind
- if it's not fast run with the ball, just slow movement with it, will be touch, not accelaration
- only one touch of the ball is not enough for accelaration
The player in black shirt (who delivers the assist) sprints with the ball in the middle of the pitch (accelaration for him) and passes the ball to N.9 - he takes the ball outside of the penalty area and goes inside with good speed, but only for one touch of the ball, accelaration must be not used for him (touch, because he crosses the line with the ball)
Sterling receives the pass and touches the ball only one time before the shot - touch, not accelaration for him, doesn't matter that he sprints - only one touch is not enough for accelaration
Shaw wins a big space of the pitch, but he doesn't sprint with the ball, just runs with it with normal speed and he looks to find free teammate to pass the ball - touch, not accelaration for him
Shaw intercepts the opposite pass and runs with the ball enough long distance, but with low speed, doesn't accelarate with the ball - touch, not accelaration here
The player in yellow shirt, who sprints with the ball - he tries to change his speed and does it faster with the ball - accelaration is better to be used here, not touch
The attacking player in yellow shirt, who takes the ball - he runs fast with it (enough fast for accelaration), but his movement with the ball is backward - for these type of runs with the ball - touch must be used, not accelaration
N.27 in red shirt steals the ball on the sideline and runs with it next - his run is not so fast, this is not enough to be used accealaration
N.27 in purple shirt runs with the ball after the bad free kick by the opposite player - his first run with the ball should be tagged like accelaration and after the next pass by his teammate, when he receives the ball again, he touches it only one time, so for the second part of his run, it should be tagged like touch, not accelaration, because it's only one touch
N.6 in blue/red shirt runs forward with the ball - he stops the ball once and move it forward one more time - it's accelaration, not touch, because there are 2 touches of the ball during the accelaration of the player
In this situation is better to be used touch, not accelaration, for N.30 in black shirt, because he runs forward with the ball, looking to find some free teammate and slows his speed, not running so fast the whole time
N.7 in yellow shirt takes the ball and runs with it with very fast steps against the penalty area, where he is fouled by the opposite player - accelaration (not touch) should be tagged before the duel
N.16 in yellow shirts sprints very fast, reaches the ball and goes into the penalty area with it - accelataion must be tagged, not touch in this case (also offensive duel too)
In this situation for N.7 in black shirt should be tagged accelaration, not touch, because the player tries to sprint with the ball in his feet and the distance, covered with the ball is enough long
