DEFINITION:
The height of every crossed ball
GUIDELINES:
It can be added in combination with the crosses (from free kick cross and corners too). It's used to show the height of the crossed ball: if it's less than 1 meter high or on the ground – it will be Low; if it's higher than 1 meter or more – High; if the first player, who is tries to stop the cross, intercept or block it – it will be Blocked. If there is a Free Kick Cross and the player, who crosses the ball, hit an opponent from the wall – it will be Blocked too.
- they could be added only to Cross, Free Kick Cross and Corner Kick
- it's used to show the height of the crossed ball: if it's less than 1 meter height or on the ground – it will be Low; if it's higher than 1 meter or more – High; if the first player, who is tries to stop the cross, intercept or block it – it will be Blocked
- it's important what is the height of the cross and how the next player plays with the ball - usually, if he plays with foot, in most of the situations it should be low cross; if a player plays with the ball with head next (usually, but not always) - it is supposed to be high cross and yet, if the cross is close to the ground, the player jumps down to play with head, could be low too
Arnold crosses high ball at the air
Mane with high cross from the left wing
Messi crosses the ball high at the air from free kick
High crossed ball by Messi from corner kick
Messi crosses the ball high from corner kick no the first post
N.5 in white shirt crosses the ball high (over the head of the opposite defender), doesn't matter that at the end the ball falls down and his teammate scores with foot - still it's a high cross
- if there is a cross, which is high at some point, but not over any heads of an opposite players and the ball fells on the first post on the foot of some player - better to be tagged like low, not high
- it's important what is the height of the cross and how the next player plays with the ball - usually, if he plays with foot, in most of the situations it should be low cross; if a player plays with the ball with head next (usually, but not always) - it is supposed to be high cross and yet, if the cross is close to the ground, the player jumps down to play with head, could be low too
Arnold crosses the ball on the ground
Low cross by Aubameyang from the left wing
Low cross by Messi from free kick - even if in some point the ball is over the grass, still this is a height, which must be considered like low (also the ball bounces from the ground)
After the first cross from the free kick, the second ball, directed into the penalty area, must be tagged like low cross for the player from Sevilla
Grealish crosses the ball and Kane scores with head - doesn't matter that he plays the ball with head, he dives to reach it and the ball is in middle hight (not more a meter over the ground), not high at the air - not always, when a player plays the ball with head, the cross must be high - here it's better to be low
Olmo crosses the ball from the right wing - the ball is over the ground, but not enough high - this cross must be tagged like low
At the end of the attack N.4 in yellow shirt crosses the ball into the penalty area - it should be tagged like a low cross, not high
- if the cross passes the first opposite player, who tries to block it and another player clears it - it must be low or high; blocked is used only, when the 1st opposite player stands on the way of the ball
- if there is a slight deflection, but the ball still continues into the penalty area, the cross must be low or high, not blocked (the interception should be tagged 1 second before the cross to avoid software mistake)
- if there is a Free Kick Cross and the player, who crosses the ball, hit san opponent from the wall – it must be blocked
Arnold crosses the ball and the opposite player blocks the cross
N.12 from Sevilla touches the ball, after the cross of Haaland, but the ball continues into the penalty area (N.12 doesn't change so much the trajectory of the ball) - still Interception must be tagged for him, but before the cross (to not interrupt the software algorithm), because the cross must be tagged like low, not blocked and yet his touch must be not missed
N.17 in blue shirt - the ball deflects by him and still continues into the penalty area (the ball's trajectory is not cut) - again, the Interception (slight deflection, but still he touches the ball) for N.17 must be tagged before the cross (which must be tagged like low, not blocked)
N.7 dribbles against N.2, who tries to stop him - the cross goes near N.2 and his teammate clears the ball - if the ball is not intercepted/blocked by the first player, who tries to stop the attacking player (N.2 in this case) and it's cleared from another player - it must be not blocked (low here)
After the first cross the ball is cleared and goes to the player of Atletico - he crosses it again into the penalty area and there is slight deflection - still the cross must be tagged like low, not blocked
N.14 from Atletico crosses the ball, there is a deflection, but still the ball continues into the penalty area and the GK catches it - the cross must be tagged like high, not blocked
