STEM Enrichment

In my role as Roving Scientist, I am always delighted to welcome parents and carers to share the exciting Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths work their children undertake in  STEM Clubs. Around fifteen parents of pupils from City of London Primary Academy joined their children before school on the 17th of November to see what they had been up to. Here are some of their comments:

'My daughter is always very inspired and happy after the STEM session.'

'My daughter was so excited every Thursday for STEM Club. She has learnt a lot and enjoyed it immensely.'

'My son and I spent an amazing time doing the activities this morning. Thank you very much for this opportunity.'

'What a fantastic club and wonderful start to STEM for the children. it inspired our son and was the catalyst for more questions and research at home.'

'The excitement that my daughter had when talking about this STEM Club was so wonderful to see. It generated many conversations as a family and a lot of reading to continue finding out what she learnt at school.' 

Gillespie parents of pupils in Years 3 - 6 enjoyed joining their children in STEM Club to see what they had been doing. 

'Thank you for having me in the STEM Club. It was amazing to see my son design and create his brushbot. What a fun and informative class! Jasper loves STEM and we are grateful for the learning and skills he has built - a little engineer in the making.'
