Family Physics Funfair

Gillespie Primary School's Science Committee (pupils from Years 1 - 6) planned, prepared, organised and delivered activities at an after school Family Physics Funfair. Activities covered a range of topics: Steady Hand Game (electricity – circuits), Bring Ghosts to Life (static electricity), Slingshot Target Shoot (forces – gravity), Car Races (forces – friction), Shadow Puppet Show (light) and Catch a Fish (forces – magnets). Toby and Louise from the Institute of Physics joined in and handed out activity packs to families.

The Gillespie school community came along and participated in great numbers and with great enthusiasm.
