Making slime


Pupils learnt about careers related to Chemistry: process engineer- manufacturing; materials scientist; entrepreneur. They tweaked their slime recipes to make them work.


Conductive Dough

Pupils revised circuits and learnt about careers related to them: electrical engineer, design engineer. They thought about how making your own dough and storing it in a repurposed container is sustainable.

Frog Survival

Pupils revised life cycles and learnt about careers related to biology: neurosurgeon, oceanographer, botanist, geneticist. They investigated survival rates of frogs by playing a game.

Climate Crisis

Pupils reused plastic drink bottles to make salad planters as astonishingly, 178 million bags of salad are binned in the UK every year!

Mixed up animals

Y6 pupils helped Year 1 pupils revise animal groupings through a mixed up animals art activity.

Herbivore, carnivore, omnivore?

Year 1 pupils made herbivore, carnivore and omnivore poo and placed clues such as bits of bone, seeds and grass inside.
