On Friday 28th February, Science for Life hub members joined Camden science leads at the Crick Institute for a professional development session about Space. This was delivered by a representative from the Royal Observatory in Greenwich.
A wealth of information was shared including the following:

how to build a scale model of the solar system using strip of paper
misconception cards
information about borrowing moon rock
how to model aspects of the Earth, Sun and Moon topic
interesting facts
celestial buddies: soft toys representing the solar system
catering for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities
Science for Life and the Education Team at the Crick continue to collaborate on the delivery of training.
