Eco-Committee

Gillespie Eco-Committee are working towards achieving an Eco Award. Using the Eco-Schools Seven Step framework, they are taking control of environmental action within the school with an aim to taking it further into the local community. The pupils have undertaken an environmental review of the school. They surveyed and interviewed staff and students, the premises manager and the cook. After analysing the results, they developed an action plan and they are now ready to communicate its aims to the rest of the school community.
