Below are the learning objectives for each of the Navigating College modules.

Learn about financial aid, grants, loans, scholarships, and how to manage your personal budget.

Describe the purpose of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®).
Explain the difference between a loan and a grant.
List things that should be considered when creating a budget.
Explain the effect of interest of credit card repayment.
Describe where to find your financial information as a Pierpont student.

Tips and information about study skills, test-taking, organization, reading and understanding textbooks, and much more.

List one of your personal learning strategies that you consider to be a strength.
List one of your personal learning strategies that you could improve on.

Bringing Together People Who are Changing Their Lives through Education
The importance of and ways to connect with your fellow students.

Upon successful completion of this Module, you will be able to do the following:
Recognize the common characteristic that students, faculty, and staff have.
Describe the importance of a sense of belongingness to a person's wellbeing.
Define bias as it relates to creating a community.

Upon successful completion of this Module, you will be able to do the following:
Describe the importance of self-reflection.
Understand the options for a student who fails a semester.
List ways to find a job.

Which modules am I supposed to do?

Read through all of the modules and complete each module assessment.
The Certificate of Completion will be emailed to you when you complete the last assessment.
To receive the Certificate, you must complete all of the modules and each module's assessment.
What if I don't want a Certificate?
Since all of the topics were chosen to help students succeed, it is suggested that you look through all modules even if you don't want the Certificate to see what might help you in your classes.
