This year, the Nepean theater department is set to present their riveting adaptation of the iconic film "Clue" brought to life on stage. Clue will be the spring production for 2024, a production that is molded by the theater department each year. Auditions have already completed, and the cast for this year’s production has also been selected.
The finer details of this production will be discussed and revealed very soon, as for now, the dates are set for May 1 - May 4. To go into more depth about this production, Clue is a murder mystery farce featuring six mysterious guests. These ‘guests’ are called to assemble for a dinner party at the manor of a seemingly obscure millionaire, and are greeted by the semi-snobbish butler, Wadsworth. However, when their host turns up dead, this dinner party turns into a chaotic search to find the killer, what they used to kill, and where they did it. As the bodies pile up, the search turns into a race against time, as the seven attempt to find the culprit and successfully escape the manor.
This play will be created largely with the help of the theater production classes, which altogether make up a student population of around 75 students. The sets, props, costumes, front of house services, and sounds and lighting will all be managed by the theater production class with the help of Mr Wright and Mr Carter. Please provide as much support as you can to bring this awesome play to life!
