Springtime Hikes

I have never been a winter person. The slushy grey snow at the end of February and the bitter cold that bites at my ears are what I dread most going into the new year. But then the weather starts to creep up, and suddenly I hear birds chirping in the morning.
Spring in Ottawa is very underrated. What I like to do the most in the springtime is walk around our city. Here are some of the best hiking trails (in my opinion):
The Skyline trail in Gatineau Park, a beautiful pathway with the most amazing views.
The Champlain trail which is a super easy hike and is about an hour away from Ottawa.
And finally, King Mountain, which I would say is a little more difficult, but in my opinion it is totally worth it.
Hopefully in sharing with you my favourite springtime activity I have inspired you to also go for a hike in the breathtaking Gatineau Park!
