Ingredients:
Cookie crumbs (they will be made into a pie crust, so plan accordingly)
1/4 cup melted butter (more or less)
2 packages of instant jello pudding (any flavour should work, but butterscotch and chocolate make for especially delicious desserts)
2 cups of milk
1 package of frozen whipped topping, thawed (whipped cream can be substituted)
Instructions:
1. Mix the butter into the cookie crumbs, adding more if needed. Press into a casserole dish or pie tin, whichever is being used. Put it in the fridge for 20 minutes, or until solid.
2. In a medium bowl, use a hand mixer to combine the milk and both packets of instant jello mix. Mix on low speed for approximately 2 minutes. Set aside.
3. In another medium/large bowl, mix half of the whipped topping (or whipped cream) with half of the pudding mix. This will be your second layer.
4. Take the pie crust (cookie crumbs and butter) out of the fridge. Spread the remaining pudding mix in an even layer over the bottom of the pie crust. On top of that, spread the mixed pudding and whipped topping from step 3. As the third layer, spread the remaining whipped topping/whipped cream on top.
5. Optional: Use a spatula to make artful peaks in the whipped topping.
