On November 25th, the Nepean Drama Department proudly showcased their 2024 Children’s Theatre production: The Space Crusaders. This captivating show was completely directed and brought to life by the talented students of Nepean High School. After performing at our school, the production was then taken on tour around Ottawa, spreading joy and creativity to students at several public schools. Children’s Theatre is a cherished production at Nepean High School that happens every year as winter rolls in. It’s a truly unique project because it’s almost entirely run by students—both in and out of the Drama Department. From writing the script to designing the detailed costumes, every single aspect is a result of months of hard work, passion, and dedication from the students involved. This meaningful production isn’t going anywhere anytime soon, and it’s only going to grow stronger as more students get involved in the years to come.
