Each member goes through the Financial Stewardship teaching as part of the 1st Year Pastoral Formation Track. This is for a better understanding and appreciation about our responsibility to our Church and community as part of our authentic Christian life.
Although giving tithes is not part of the CFC covenant, it is part of the Catholic and biblical teaching.
Donations to the parish - Contact your parish office.
We encourage you to start tithing with whatever dollar amount CFC is worth for you and your family.
Our tithes support our community in our work of evangelization to help put a stop to 500 Catholics leaving the Church per day here in Canada. Many priests want CFC to be in their parishes. So we need to develop more leaders and do more missions.
Our goal is to achieve 100% participation.
Let's make it happen for the Lord, our brethren, and our Catholic Church. 🙏✨💖
You are being enriched in every way for all generosity,
which through us produces thanksgiving to God,
for the administration of this public service
is not only supplying the needs of the holy ones
but is also overflowing in many acts of thanksgiving to God.

Using the e-deposit procedure for cheques to CFC:
Using a mobile app, we can now do e-deposit of cheques. In case you have some cheques to remit to the office, please take a photo of both sides of each cheque and email to cfcvan@cfc.ca.
Make sure that the prints are clear especially the bottom part with the bank account info.
Indicate in the subject of your email whether it is a First Fruits Offering, Tithe, or for an event (provide details).
For cash donations
Accumulate them and issue a personal cheque in lieu of the total at the end of the month and email to cfcvan@cfc.ca.
Indicate the name of the donor/s. When done, cross out the cheque and label "deposited" with the date it was emailed.
You cannot do the e-deposit from your end as it is one of the restrictions of this feature of our account.
With this mobile e-deposit, we are eliminating the need to mail out the cheques, and, for some of you, a trip to CIBC to do the direct deposit.
If you are not comfortable emailing the above details / documents
Option 1: Bring the documents to the CFC Mission Center.
Option 2: Put the document(s) in a sealed envelope and give it to your household head, unit head, or chapter head.
For your tithes, you can set up a monthly EFT to CFC on your online banking system.
For GVA North, use cibc.gvnorth@couplesforchrist.ca
For GVA South, use cibc.gvsouth@couplesforchrist.ca
Mention these details in the Notes section of the EFT: "Tithes", Area, Chapter, ministry (CFC, HOLD, SOLD, or SFC)
Give and gifts will be given to you;
a good measure, packed together, shaken down, and overflowing,
will be poured into your lap.
For the measure with which you measure will in return be measured out to you.
