Until I arrive, attend to the reading, exhortation, and teaching.
1 Timothy 4:13
An exhortation is a call to worship. It is an encouragement to the community to worship our God.
It is a manifestation of the Gift of Prophecy.
The need for people to focus their mind and spirit to God.
The need for people to be reminded of the "worthiness" of God to be worshipped.
The need for people to be led and brought to the presence of God.
Exhortation builds faith.
Exhortation helps people to respond to God in worship.
On the other hand, he who prophesies speaks to men
