Prayers during the 40 Days for Life Prayer Vigil
It is usually cold so here are some tips:
Wear safety mask. This can also help keep you warm and protect you from the cold wind.
Bring a Rosary.
Dress up warmly as if there is snow (because of prolonged exposure to the cold weather).
Wear a toque, thick jackets, thick gloves, underpants, thick socks. A hoodie is recommended to protect the head and neck from the cold.
Bring water and food for snacks (just in case).
If the weather is too cold, bring a blanket or sleeping bag. You can leave it in your car and get it when you or someone else needs it.
Since the weather in BC is unpredictable sometimes, it may be good to bring an umbrella. You can leave it in your car. It will be great if someone can bring a gazebo for the community to use.
Please check the weather forecast for Vancouver before you leave home for the event.

(from 40 Days For Life)
I stand in peaceful prayer in response to God’s promise: “If my people, who are called by my Name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and forgive their sin and will heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14
I am thankful to God for the gift of my life and for the lives of all my brothers and sisters.
I am committed to defend life, until my brothers and sisters are protected, and once again Canada becomes a country which respects life from conception to natural death, not just for some, but for all.
I will show compassion and reflect Christ’s love to all abortion facility employees, volunteers, and customers.
I will not obstruct the driveways or sidewalk while standing in the public right of way.
I will not litter on the public right of way.
I will closely attend to any children I bring to the prayer vigil.
I will cooperate with city authorities.
I understand that acting in a violent or harmful manner or in any way contrary to the above guidelines, immediately and completely disassociates me from the 40 Days for Life campaign
