Adding Files And Video
Add Google Docs, Slides, Sheets, Forms & Charts
On the right sidebar, click "Insert" (at the top of the column). This opens other choices for you.
At the bottom of the column, notice the types of Google files you can insert.
Select the type of file you want to add, e.g. Docs, Slides, Sheets, Forms, or Charts.
Choose a file from the sidebar that opens. Example. If you chose "Docs," you will see thumbnail icons or list view of the Docs in your Drive. Click on one of your choice.
The Doc you chose, will be inserted onto your Sites page.
To publish your changes, at the top right, click Publish.
Add YouTube videos, calendars & maps
At the right of the sidebar, click "Insert" (at the top of the column).
Select the type of file you want to add, e.g. YouTube, Calendar, or Map.
Once selected, a different window opens, and you can choose what you'd like to add:
If you choose YouTube, a window opens that allows you to do a video search on YouTube
If you choose Calendar, a sidebar opens with a list of all the calendars in your Google account.
If you choose Map, you can search for a place on Google Maps, or choose one of your own maps from "My Maps."
Choose a video, calendar, or place. Click, "Select" or "Insert," depending on the item you chose.
To publish your changes, at the top right, click Publish.
Add a file from your computer
You can upload a .jpg, .png, or .gif image file from your computer. To add other file types, use Google Drive.
Upload the files to your Drive first.
To add an image, on the right sidebar, click the "Insert" heading.
Choose the " Images" icon in the top right (It's a red icon).
If you choose, "Upload," you can choose an image from your hard drive. This allows you to choose a file from your computer.
You can do a number of things when you click "Select" on the "Images" icon:

select, "Google Images" and search for an image on the WEB
To publish your changes, at the top right, click Publish.
Add a file from Google Drive
On the right, click Insert; then choose Drive. (the triangle-like icon at the top of the right sidebar)
You will see headings such as "My Drive," "Shared With Me," "Recent" and "Starred"
Open folders if you have files inside folders, or choose a "stand-alone" file.
To open a folder and view its contents, double click on it.
Click on "Insert" in the bottom right, after you've chosen a file. Notice that you can view the contents as thumbnails or list view.
Click once on the name of the file you want to insert, and click, "Insert" at the bottom of the column. The file will be inserted onto your Sites page.
If you do not want the file, click on the trash can. (Select the file, and an icon of a trash can will show in the top, left. Click on the trash can.)
The file will be deleted
To publish your changes, at the top right, click Publish.
