Self-Grading Forms
You can create Forms for tests and quizzes "within" the regular Forms edit mode. Then, select, "Make this a quiz," make an answer key, and have Google grade students' submissions. You can also script each question to give students feedback, and/or point them to additional resources for information. The additional resources can be websites you'd like them to read, Docs you've created yourself, Presentations you've created for review or advanced work, etc.
This works with multiple choice, checkboxes, and drop down questions.
The quiz format of Google Forms:
the ability to create tests/quizzes
the ability to make the tests/quizzes self-correcting
has answer keys built in for teachers to use
can indicate which questions students had incorrect
can send students their test results immediately (or at a later time)
supply correct answers for students to see, if the teacher chooses
assign points to each question, if the teacher chooses
