Pre-Populated Forms

You can create Forms with fields already filled in for users. This can save time, and it helps eliminate mistakes. It is also easier for younger students and special needs students.

The following information is already filled in on the sample Form below:

• period student takes the class

• assignment name

• school building

Directions:

1. Create a Form and add questions/places for fields that will be common to all students filling out that Form

2. Add questions such as name of the assignment they are doing, the class they are all in, school district, building, room number, etc.

3. Fill in the answers for the common questions that will be pre-filled

4. Click the 3 dots at the top, right corner of a Form

5. Choose, "Get pre-filled link"

6. Click, "Get Link" at the bottom of the Form

7. Copy the link Google generates

8. Share that link with students.

9. The answers you filled in will be filled in on their copies. They can then fill in the rest of the answers on the Form
