Create A Custom URL For Your Site
Customize The URL With A Word Or Phrase You Choose
To create a URl with more meaningful words or text, do the following:
In Edit Mode, click, "Publish" in the top right
A window opens which looks like the image on the right below
Choose, "Web Address," not "Custom Domain" (the first choice in the window that opens)
Type the word or phrase you want to use
Click, "Save"
Click "Publish" in Edit Mode
Type the phrase you want to use under the words, "Web Address"
If you've chosen a name already in use, Google will alert you
Choose a different name (phrase you want added to the end of the one Google creates)
You can ONLY use lower case letters, numbers, and dashes
The example below has the words/phrase "learnmoretoday"
When done, click "Publish" in the bottom, right corner
This what your homepage will look like
The phrase "learnmoretoday" is now part of the URL or WEB address
It's circled on the image to the right
