Add Placemarkers To The Map
Add placemarks:
These directions are for adding placemarkers when using a computer.
Open Google Earth.
On the left, click Projects .
Click, "Create A Project"
Click New feature > Add placemark.
Click where you want to add a placemark on the map.
To move around, drag the map or click Zoom In or Zoom Out .
Under “Place title,” add a name for the placemarker.
Under “Add to project,” click the Down arrow and select or add a project folder.
Click Save.
The placemark shows up on the map and in the project details panel.
Add placemarks with Search
On the left, click Search .
Enter the place you want to find.
In the Knowledge Card that opens, click Add to project.
Under “Place title,” add a name for your placemark.
Under “Add to project,” click the Down arrow and select or add a project folder.
Click Save.
The placemark shows up on the map and in the project details panel.
Add a placemark to a project from a Knowledge Card
On the map, search for a location and click a placemark.
In the Knowledge Card, click Add to project.
The title is automatically added for you.
Under “Place title,” you can add or edit the name.
Under “Add to project,” click the Down arrow and select or add a project folder.
Click Save.
The placemark shows up in your project details panel.
