I am not too terribly worried about my background and all that but I think I may have missed something in the employment history. I moved here in the US 7 years ago and my first year was a mess. I hopped from job to job and can hardly remember the exact dates of each job. I was adjusting to the new environment and of course everything was new to me. However, I have a solid 5 years of experience in Customer Service, IT and Sales at my current job. Plus I have a degree from overseas. No misdemeanor and I have paperwork to prove that I am a legal to work here in the good ole USA.Â
Well I applied March 15th 2015. then they called me next day for a phone interview and then i took the assessment. later on the week the called me for a face to face interview, it was a big group on March 27th, 2015 then they called me on the 28th to tell me about the interview went well and i signed the pre employment send the document... then they sent me the paperwork for the drug test 5/29/15 they got the results same day then carco contacted me 5/30/15 via email... I filled the info send some my mother maiden name because they have to investigate in Puerto Rico... now its been almost a week hopefully they contact me if not im gonna call my recruiter because i emailed him twice this week and nothing... btw comm tech 1 ! can anyone tell me how long the background took and what you get on day 1 for that position ? when you get the truck and the equipment .. thanks
I have just got hired on 09/02/2015 for Comcast Call center in Miramar,FL and I had a felony that was dropped down to misdemeanor when they realized I was not at fault I was just with the wrong person at the time. The true charge was a misdemeanor peti theft which had withhold of adjudication. I know that you could still see it on my background so I was honest when sent to the background check company I wrote exactly what I wrote above and I have paperwork to prove it. They did pass my background check. I was and am EXTREMELY grateful because I know Comcast is a great company with tremendous integrity and I want to be part of that institution. When I received the great news after all that crucial waiting period (since Aug. 15 - Sept. 04) I was ecstatic. I am proud to say that I start tomorrow 09/14/2015. What I am trying to say is that if you are honest from the beginning then you will not have any problems. Also every situations and case is different and time as well since the last run in with the law. That was my first and only which occurred almost 5 years ago.
