These upgrades are classified as mutations when breeding. Why is that? Because they do not require any previous upgrade in order to happen! All you need is luck during your breeding!
There are multiple mutation categories!
Mutations that affect the iris colour. Each mutation adds an extra eye colour into the mix.
All eye mutations can optionally start with free Pupils!

King sized!
Rules
-Your kel is forever bigger than the average size
These are still lucky mutations but they are a bit special. All colour mutations (except Chimera and Piebaldism) will hinder a kel's ability to learn 1 magic type. All colour mutations limitations can be outgrown with colour upgrades! Even if they outgrow their colour limitations, kels with these mutations still have a chance to pass these upgrades down!
What happens if I use X item and roll a colour mutation? Go check our Breeding Items List to see what happens when certain items are used.
One last thing, colour mutations cannot be removed like other upgrades! They can be outgrown, as mentioned beforehand, BUT they must always have the mutation listed in their upgrades so they can pass it down.
Colour Mutations can be mimicked with colour upgrades, and will not come with the magic limitations. HOWEVER, they will not be able to pass down to eggs.
