Marking Upgrade Rules
Kels start with 1 regular marking slot. Regular markings are any markings found on this page!
Extra Marking may be used to add 1 regular marking slot. To have 3 or more markings, you need Unlimited Markings!
Special markings (any markings found in the Special Category) have no slot limit!
If a keling is born with more than 1 marking they cannot get the Extra Marking upgrade.
Do not stray too far away from the shapes shown in the examples.
Markings can be base, secondary or accent colour.
All markings start as the same colour. They can be colour mixed later (i.e all stripes are accent colour on application but with a colour mixer upgrade, stripes can be accent and secondary colours).
Each marking must be of a single colour (i.e a single stripe cannot be both yellow and orange).
Markings can be applied on horns, wings, extra bits, etc.
Markings cannot be applied on eyes, gem, Beautiful Hair/Tail Tip/Tail, inside of the mouth.
Markings cannot be cut by colour placements but they can overlap.
Please do not over-exaggerate markings to the point where they stretch well outside the example images. (Cluttering the entire design, having them appear as completely different markings, combining in that sort of way, etc). If your marking applications become too far stretched or warped from the examples or original desired purposes, you may be asked to make adjustments.

-Can be colour mixed outside of markings, cannot cover more than 30% of the kel's body (not including markings).

Rules
-Adds a crystal-like texture over the markings. Does not change the colour of the marking underneath.
-Must provide the marking's colour on the side on approval apps.
-Can be colour mixed outside of markings and can cover the entirety of the kel (minus the eyes, gem, tongue/teeth/inside of mouth and naga pits). If covering the entirety of the kel, the front/back views of a kel on breeding reference will be required to not have the texture.
