About Me!

Hi! My name is Miranda Angulo and I am a 4th year student at UCSD. I major in International Business and minor in marketing. I took this specific class since I am a huge fan of trying out new cafe or new food places, and overall love trying different types of cuisines. Since I was raised with Filipino food, especially cooking it with my mom and eating it all the time at family gatherings, I would say my favorite kind of cuisine has to be Filipino food. I think having these memories and connection with my cultural food also allowed me to gravitate towards this class. Food brings so much meaning and understanding not only for my family, but for other cultures too, which I find so interesting about.
