Bio

Hi! My name is Tanvi and I'm currently a fourth year international business major and computational social science minor.

Being of South Asian descent and growing up around Indian cooking, I've always loved food from different parts of the world with intense flavors, spices, and aromas. My favorite part about traveling is getting to try different types of food and I'm so excited to learn more in this class. 

Interests

Throughout college, I've worked in a number of different fields within the tech industry and I'm confident that technology can help make the world a better place. Specifically, food insecurity, scarcity, and food deserts are huge problems that plague much of our global population. It would be fascinating to explore how technology can work to mitigate some of the impacts caused by those issues.

In addition, I really enjoy learning about easy cooking recipes, skincare products, and music and music production from around the world.

Fun Fact:

I studied abroad in London in Fall 2021 and was able to experience another country's food culture. I would love to regularly be able to immerse myself in foreign cultures in the future.
