My name is Skylar Laube and I am a third year transfer student from Arizona who is studying Biology. I was interested in taking this course because I find nutrition and food sustainability really intriguing. One of my favorite topics to research revolves around how different societies influence the diets of certain populations. 

When I was younger, I used to make spaghetti, fry bread and salmon patties with my grandparents. While these dishes are near to my heart, my current favorite food is shrimp tacos. I also love fruits like watermelon and mango.
