Highlighting my own personal interests, I decided to launch a food truck that offers a variety of global cuisines paired with healthy food choices. My captivation with food as a healing agent began in my childhood, sparked by watching different food documentaries on television. This curiosity inspired me to explore diets that promote optimal health and function of the body. Additionally, I discovered how food possesses the ability to bring diverse communities together. With a deep love for travel, I envisioned incorporating flavors from around the world into this food truck venture. These ideas motivated me to create “Global Grub,” a food truck that unites my passions for nutritious food and travel into one comprehensive concept. Global Grub aims to serve students at UC San Diego by offering healthy and international cuisine, constructing a welcoming ambience inspired by numerous cultures, and prioritizing customer satisfaction in the business plan.
